James Kelly

James Kelly has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. In 2021, they began working as a Manufacturing Manager at Nucleus Biologics. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Scientist III, where they were responsible for assessing and creating formulations for cell culture media, analyzing chemical formulas and manufacturing processes, and performing benchtop work to ensure product quality. James also created guidance tools for powder cell culture media and headed quality for the department handling customer complaints and investigations. From 2014 to 2015, Kelly worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Life Technologies) as a Manufacturing Technician, where they operated a batch reactor, monitored air flows, pressures and product temperature, and troubleshot when necessary. James also coordinated with supervisors and engineers to improve process, and assisted with projects to improve employee training. Additionally, they worked as an Associate Project Manager, managing custom orders for clients around the world, producing reports displaying sales and shipping data, and analyzing costing, pricing, and distribution of products. Finally, from 2008 to 2014, Kelly worked as a Clerk at Tops Markets, where they enhanced the overall customer service experience, developed organizational skills, and applied problem solving skills to production process and employee training.

James Kelly graduated from the University at Buffalo in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Geology.
