Jay Kocon

Jay Kocon has extensive experience in sales and management roles within the steel industry. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Sales Engineer at Vulcraft, where they conducted material takeoffs and collaborated with engineers to ensure proper specifications for steel joists and deck. Jay then joined Vulcraft Sales Corporation in 2006 as a District Sales Manager, managing a sales team and negotiating sales in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. In 2014, Jay transitioned to Nucor Building Systems as a Sales Manager, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they serve as the Director of Group Sales and Talent at Nucor Buildings Group.

Jay Kocon attended North Dakota State University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering.
