Michael Adams

Michael Adams has worked in the Information Technology industry since 2005. From 2005-2007, they were a Program Manager/Senior Project Engineer for Technical and Management Resources, Inc. From 2007-2008, they worked as a Senior Principal Systems Security Engineer for Wells Landers. From 2008-2009, they were a Principal Engineer, Systems for NJVC, LLC. From 2009-2010, they were a Senior Principal Systems Engineer for Varen Technologies. From 2010-2011, they were a Senior Project Engineer for Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB). From 2011-2012, they were a Deputy Program Manager for Caelum Research Corporation. From 2012-2014, they were an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus. Since 2015, they have been the President/CEO of NuCrest, LLC and a Senior IT Security Advisor/Security Risk SME.

Michael Adams has an education history comprising of a Master of Science in Information Technology/Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained between 2003 and 2006. Michael also has a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from the same university, which they obtained between 2000 and 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a transfer in Information Systems from The University of Texas at San Antonio between 1996 and 1999. Finally, they obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Information Resource Management from the Community College of the Air Force between 1990 and 1996. Additionally, Michael Adams has obtained certifications such as Certified Authorization Professional (CAP®) from (ISC)² in 2013, ITIL v3 in 2008, Security+ in 2008, and Certified FISMA Compliance Practitioner (CFCP).
