Monique Legair, ACG - Chartered Governance Professional, has over 19 years of experience in the corporate governance sector. Monique Legair, ACG began their career in 2001 as a Trust Officer at Rathbones, where they provided family office services and assisted with new client development opportunities. In 2005, they moved to Capita as a Trust Officer, where they incorporated and provided ongoing administration to UK, Irish, and Jersey SPV companies. In 2008, they became a Senior Relationship Manager at Intertrust Group, where they were responsible for building a client portfolio of UK companies through the provision of management and company secretarial services. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Assistant Secretary at Standard Chartered Bank, where they were responsible for reviewing and providing feedback to senior management in respect of reports submitted to the Audit Committee and Court of Standard Chartered Bank. In 2014, they joined Santander UK as an Assistant Company Secretary - Governance, where they were responsible for reviewing and updating the Santander UK plc Corporate Governance Framework. In 2018, they became a Partner and Chairwoman at Cornerstone Partners, the first Angel Investor Network exclusively focused on investing in businesses owned and run by black founders. Monique Legair, ACG also became a Director of Board Apprentice (BAME) Limited and LonAlto, where they provided their full-service team and seed capital to pioneering entrepreneurs. In 2022, they joined NUDEA as a Non Executive Director. In addition, they are the Founder of Legair & Associates Limited, which they established in 2012.

Monique Legair, ACG - Chartered Governance Professional, began their educational journey in 1998 when they attended the University of Hull and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management in 2001. In 2006, they furthered their education by attending Nottingham University Business School and obtaining an MA in Corporate Strategy & Governance in 2007. Later that same year, they became an Associate of The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland. In 2014, they obtained an Investment Management Certificate from CFA Institute in Unit 1 - Investment Management and Advice in the UK Context.
