Dr Elizabeth Fisher

Dr. Elizabeth Fisher is a Senior Research Analyst at the Nuffield Trust since May 2012, where leadership of the QualityWatch programme is a key responsibility. Previously, Dr. Fisher served as a Team Leader at the Care Quality Commission from December 2006 to May 2012, managing a team to develop information-based tools for performance management against regulatory legislation. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Novartis from August 2000 to September 2001, during which a significant research project was presented at the British Pharmacological Society meeting in London. Dr. Fisher holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell Physiology and Pharmacology from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacology with Industrial Experience from The University of Manchester.
