Nick Black

Nick Black is an Emeritus Professor of Health Services Research at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London, where Nick has worked since October 1985. In addition to this role, Nick Black serves as the Chair of the Programme Board for the Kent, Medway & Sussex Secure Data Environment since October 2022 and as the Chair of the Board for the NIHR ARC Kent, Surrey and Sussex since 2019. Furthermore, Nick Black has been a Senior Associate at the Nuffield Trust since 2008. Educationally, Nick Black earned an MB ChB in Medicine from the University of Birmingham from October 1969 to August 1974, following completion of studies at Bristol Grammar School from September 1962 to December 1968.
