Guy Caelen

Guy Caelen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Guy is currently working as a Business Controller at Nuki Home Solutions GmbH since August 2022. Prior to this, from July 2018 to February 2023, they served as the Controlling Leiter at Gaulhofer.

Before their role at Gaulhofer, Guy worked as the CFO and Leiter Rechnungswesen & Controlling at Kendlbacher Getränkevertriebs GmbH | "Omi's Apfelstrudel" from April 2015 to June 2018. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks such as implementing a reporting system, creating financial forecasts and special evaluations, conducting financial negotiations, and preparing presentation materials for banks, shareholders, and investors.

From April 2011 to June 2018, Guy was the Geschäftsführender Inhaber at Move Business e.U., where they provided consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses, specializing in areas such as controlling and business modeling.

Prior to that, Guy served as the Leiter Finanz- und Rechnungswesen at Thermo Vision Entwicklungs- und Handels GmbH from September 1999 to May 2010. Guy also worked as the Leiter Controlling at East Fund Management GmbH from December 1997 to September 1999, and as the Leiter Controlling & Management Information at Hospital Vogelenzang from November 1992 to September 1995.

Guy Caelen obtained a Master in Health Science degree in Management im Gesundheitswesen from Maastricht University. Guy also pursued an MBA in Finance from the University of San Francisco. In addition, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (USA) certification from the American Association for Investment and Financial Management in January 1997. Furthermore, they acquired the Certified IFRS Accountant (Basic Certificate) from the Deutsches Institut zur Zertifizierung im Rechnungswesen e.V. in October 2012 and the Certified IFRS Accountant (Advanced Certificate) in November 2016 from the same institution.
