Melanie Whalen

Melanie Whalen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melanie currently serves as the VP Analytics and Insights at Numerica Credit Union, where they lead efforts to drive business performance and develop organizational strategies. Previously, they worked as a Sr Solutions Consultant at Informatica, providing technical support and expertise for data management products and solutions. Prior to that, Melanie served as a Scrum Master at PayTrace and a Customer Data Governance Program Manager at Starbucks. Melanie also held leadership roles at Umpqua Bank and Sterling Bank, where they oversaw business intelligence, data governance, and financial systems. Melanie started their career at Sterling Savings Bank, where they held positions in financial planning and analysis, lending support systems, and reporting management.

Melanie Whalen's education history began in 1991 when they enrolled in Walla Walla Community College. Melanie pursued a degree in Respiratory Therapy and successfully completed their studies in 1993, receiving an A.A.A.S. degree. Following this, in the year 2000, they joined Eastern Washington University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, which they achieved in 2002. Melanie's academic journey continued in 2009 when they enrolled in Washington State University, where they pursued an Executive MBA. Melanie completed their studies at the university in 2010.
