Greg Norgard

Greg Norgard is a research scientist with extensive experience in statistical analysis, algorithm development, and software design. Currently employed at Numerica Corporation since February 2011, Greg contributes to research and software solutions. Previously, Greg worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory from June 2009 to February 2011, focusing on the development of combinatorial algorithms for topological feature detection in vector and scalar fields, as well as conducting computational topology research. Greg holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado Boulder, earned in 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, completed in 2004.
