Agree Ahmed

Agree Ahmed has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. In 2014, they were a Mobile Product Engineer at Spatial Collective. In 2015, they were a Co-Founder at Chakula and a Designer at Esri. At Esri, they designed, built, and tested interfaces for ArcGIS Open Data, visualized coworkers' ideas, and built parsing scripts to process Freedom of Information Act PDFs. In 2016, they were a Web Developer at Clara Lending, where they built consumer-facing products to help empower people looking to finance their homes. Since 2018, they have been a Co-Founder at NUMI, where they co-founded an e-commerce platform and an on-demand grocery delivery service. In 2019, the on-demand grocery delivery service grew to 5x the GMV of Jumia Grocery in Nairobi and delivered tens of thousands of orders in under 2 hours. Agree also created a GraphQL backend in Node and a Typescript monorepo with a React Native component library. Finally, they co-founded a wholesale marketplace.

Agree Ahmed completed a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where they studied Science, Technology, and International Affairs. Agree then went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Tufts University. In 2020, they participated in Y Combinator's W20 program.
