Megan List has a diverse work experience in the field of education and software engineering. Megan started their career as a Lecturer at North Carolina State University, where they taught courses on social studies instruction and humanities. Megan then worked as a Graduate Research Associate at the same university. Following that, Megan gained experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor at The University of Akron. Megan later transitioned to Youngstown State University, where they served as an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for Middle Childhood Education and Integrated Social Studies Education. In this role, they were responsible for various tasks such as program design, assessment, and improvement, as well as serving as the Women and Gender Resource Initiative Director. Most recently, Megan has transitioned into the field of software engineering, working as a Software Engineer first at numo llc and currently at Triple.
Megan List has a diverse education history. In 1997, they began their undergraduate studies at Roberts Wesleyan University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Megan attended the university until 2001. Following their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education at North Carolina State University from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2020, Megan List attended Academy Pittsburgh and obtained a certificate in Computer Programming.
