Keegan Williams has been working in the software engineering field since 2012. In 2010, they volunteered with Reef Check. In 2012, they interned with Sinnott & Company and coached with SoPen Water Polo. In 2013 and 2014, they interned with TeselaGen Biotechnology, where they developed in MATLAB for microfluidic chip automation. From 2015 to 2021, they worked at the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University. During their time there, they were a Member of Technical Staff - Engineer, Member of Technical Staff - Associate Engineer, and Member of Technical Staff - Research Programmer. Keegan was the technical lead for an 8-person team developing AI engineering in Python, Flask, NiFi, Neo4j, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes. Keegan also managed a 3-person team for providing remote server hosting and validated and confirmed the security of an IoT device while connected to a network. In 2021, they began working at Nuna Inc. as a Staff Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Keegan worked with design and product to create and test a new workflow based UI with quickly swappable and extensible components for easy new client onboarding. Keegan also developed internal tools to speed up and enable developers.
Keegan Williams completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bucknell University in 2015, following their high school diploma from Menlo School in 2011. Keegan then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Information Technology - Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, which they completed in 2020.
