Amber Guillen

Amber Guillen is a Senior Scientist in Analytical Chemistry at Nurix Therapeutics since May 2021, with prior experience as a Senior Scientific Researcher in Discovery Chemistry Separations at Genentech from July 2012 to May 2021. At Genentech, Amber focused on the purification of small molecules using HPLC and SFC, method development, sample handling, and instrument maintenance. Earlier roles included Laboratory Technician I at Napa Valley Think Tank, where Amber conducted wine analysis and trained interns, and Laboratory Assistant at Opus One, leading quality control processes for wine vintages. Additionally, Amber served as a New Student Adviser at UCLA and held a Laboratory Assistant position, contributing to research on biofuel production. Amber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from UCLA, completed in 2010.
