Bernat Baeza Raja

Bernat Baeza Raja has extensive work experience in the field of biology and research. Bernat is currently serving as the Associate Director of Discovery Biology at Nurix Therapeutics since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Second Genome Inc. for five years, starting as a Scientist II from February 2016 until October 2017, and then as a Senior Scientist from October 2017 until September 2021. Before that, they held the position of Research Scientist at Gladstone Institutes from May 2013 to January 2016. Bernat also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Gladstone Institutes from May 2008 to April 2013. Bernat began their research career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Diego from June 2007 to April 2008. Bernat pursued their Ph.D. as a student at the Centre de Regulacio Genomica from January 2001 to June 2007. Furthermore, they gained valuable experience as a Short-term Scholar Visitor at CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre in July-August 2004. Bernat Baeza Raja completed their Master's degree at Universitat de Barcelona from February 1999 to September 2000.

Bernat Baeza Raja obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedicine from Universitat de Barcelona in 1999. Bernat then pursued a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular Biology and Histology from the same institution, which they completed in 2000. Following this, Bernat enrolled in the University of Barcelona and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology in 2007.
