Samuel Cheng

Samuel Cheng is a Senior Camera Development Engineer at Nuro, with a focus on sensor and optics evaluation, ISP tuning, and image quality debugging, alongside the development of EOL test systems. Prior experience includes serving as an Image Processing Engineer at GoPro, where camera ISP tuning for the Hero 10 and Hero 9 models was performed. Samuel also interned in camera R&D at Argo AI and as a Camera Image Quality Intern at MediaTek. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Samuel Cheng completed high school at Evergreen Valley High School.
