Scott Lucas is an engineer at NuScale Power, having served since 2012 and advanced to the role of Senior Engineer. With extensive experience in computer code development and maintenance for thermal hydraulics and reactor physics, Scott contributes to the nuclear reactor, fossil, chemical/process, and simulator industries. Scott is the author of the THINK series of simulator codes. Scott holds a PhD in Engineering Science & Mechanics with a minor in Math from North Carolina State University, as well as an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Mechanics from West Virginia University, complemented by additional graduate coursework in Physics. Scott also earned a B.S. in Physics with a minor in Math from Marshall University.
