Eric Hammersley

Eric Hammersley is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product security. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering and Chief Product Security Officer at Nutanix since May 2021, Eric previously held various roles within Nutanix, including Senior Director of Engineering. Prior to that, Eric was Director of Product Software Security Architecture at NVIDIA and held multiple technical director positions at Nutanix focusing on security operations. Eric also served as the owner of Hammersley Consulting, LLC, providing IT consulting services to the federal marketplace. Additional experience includes roles at VMware, Defense Engineering, Inc., CACI International Inc., and the US Navy, underscoring a strong background in virtualization, systems engineering, and security architecture.
