Erik Melén has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Erik started their career as an Event Staff at Idea Novum Communication AB in 2008. In 2011, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at both IBM and Concentrix. In 2012, Erik founded and managed the Super Trouper Club, a music and event management company dedicated to Swedish music. Erik also interned at MAIF IA/Vätternrundan in 2014, where they gained experience in sports marketing and branding. In 2015, Erik worked as a Junior Business Consultant at Revenues AB, assisting entrepreneurs with market research and validating business ideas. Erik joined Salming Sports AB in 2016, first as a Summer Intern in the Salming Running department and later as an Intern responsible for analyzing and suggesting ideas for event development. Erik then joined NutraQ in 2017 as a Marketing Coordinator, where they focused on CRM, direct marketing, and sponsorships. Erik gradually took on more responsibilities, becoming a Senior Marketing and Commercial Project Manager before transitioning to a role in Business Development as a Senior Project Manager. Most recently, Erik has been working as a Business Development Manager at NutraQ, leading the development and launch of new brands and products in the Edge of Arctic business concept.
Erik Melén holds a Master's Degree in Marketing from Umeå University, which they earned from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing at Glasgow Caledonian University from 2012 to 2015. In 2010 and 2011, they attended Glasgow School of English, where they took an English course at an advanced level. Additionally, Erik has obtained two certifications: one in Digital Marketing from IHM Business School in June 2019 and another in Customer Experience (CX) and Customer Journey Mapping from Resumé Akademi in February 2018.
