Jacques Barten

Jacques Barten has extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Jacques began their career in 1994 as an Officer Commander in the Military Service. After that, they worked at Interpolis as a Life Insurance Teamlead until 1999. Following that, Jacques joined Ernst & Young Consulting as a Management Consultant until 2002. Jacques then moved on to Capgemini Consulting Services as a Management Consultant with a focus on Finance & Control.

In 2004, Jacques joined Fortis ASR as a Manager of Finance & Control ICT/HR. Jacques then transitioned to Fortis in 2006 and served as Performance Leader Global Operations. In 2007, Jacques joined Nutreco as the Director of Finance and Pricing for Trouw Nutrition Selko. Jacques later took on the role of Director of Operations at Trouw Nutrition Selko in 2014, where they managed and oversaw various aspects of the business, including people management, growth and expansion, operational excellence, and international supply chain management.

Currently, Jacques holds the position of Finance Director for BU Feed Additives at Nutreco. Their responsibilities include leading the financial operations and strategic decision-making for the business unit.

Jacques Barten completed their postgraduate education in controlling at Tias Nimbas Business School from 2000 to 2003. Prior to that, they obtained their Msc degree in Business Economics from Tilburg University, which they attended from 1988 to 1994. Additionally, Jacques participated in the Erasmus program at Université d'Angers, although the exact dates are unknown.
