Thom Coenen

Thom Coenen is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in international tax law. Currently serving as the Sr. International Tax Manager at Nutreco since April 2014, Thom manages tax matters for the Trouw Nutrition Division across multiple regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, focusing on tax optimization and risk management. Prior roles include Interim Tax Manager at Kendrion NV and Scafom-rux, and Group Tax Director at Rompetrol, where Thom oversaw comprehensive tax strategies and compliance. Thom began a career as a Tax Inspector at the Dutch Ministry of Finance and has gained significant expertise through various roles in corporate tax management and advisory positions in the Big 4. Educational qualifications include an LL.M in Tax Law from Tilburg University, a Master of Laws in European Fiscal Studies from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a Master's degree in International Tax Law from Leiden University.
