Ashley Farnkopf

Ashley Farnkopf has extensive experience in the field of biosensor engineering and product development. Ashley began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Advanced Genomic Technology in 2011. From 2013 to 2014, they served as an Undergraduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of Louisville.

In 2014, Ashley joined Kao Corporation as a Formulation Technician, where they gained practical experience in formulation development. Ashley then moved on to Eccrine Systems, Inc. in 2016, starting as a Scientist and eventually becoming the Lead Scientist. In their role, they led the Sensor Characterization team and successfully developed cutting-edge electrochemical aptamer-based biosensors. Ashley also oversaw technical project management, resulting in on-time and within-budget completion of projects.

Ashley joined Laxmi Therapeutic Devices in 2020 as a Biosensor Development Engineer. Here, they led efforts utilizing a proprietary sensor platform to detect glucose response and drove new technology forward through innovative deposition techniques. In 2021, they were promoted to the role of Senior Biosensor Engineer, where they led a team of seven scientists and technicians to deliver milestones. Ashley also managed reports and expanded the team during their tenure.

Currently, Ashley Farnkopf is working as the Product Development Team Lead at Nutromics since April 2022. Ashley'sskillset includes project management, electrochemical characterization, data analysis, and technical report writing. Ashley's work experience demonstrates a strong track record of technical expertise, leadership, and successful project execution.

Ashley Farnkopf received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from the University of Louisville from 2010 to 2014.
