Rebecca Garces

Rebecca Garces currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Compliance at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since July 2013, following a role as Vice President in the same area. Prior to their tenure at Nuveen, Rebecca was a Senior Consultant at Citisoft from January 2012 to March 2013 and spent several years at UBS Global Asset Management as Director - Investment Guideline Monitoring Manager. Rebecca's earlier experience includes positions such as First Vice President of Operations at ABN AMRO Asset Management and Client Services Process Manager at UBS/Brinson Partners. Rebecca began their career at JMB Realty Corporation in a marketing role. Educationally, Rebecca holds an MBA in Finance from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communication and Public Relations from Marquette University.
