Danny Schnerwitzki

Danny Schnerwitzki has a strong background in research and development, with a focus on aging and metabolism. Danny has served as a Laboratory Head and Associate Scientist in Cross Indication Research at Nuvisan, where their responsibilities included project management, animal experimentation, and customer care. Prior to their work at Nuvisan, they were a Postdoctoral Scientist at Charité, conducting research in protein biochemistry and supervising students. Danny also has experience as a Postdoctoral Scientist and Graduate Research Associate at the Fritz Lipmann Institute, specializing in neuroscience and developmental biology. Furthermore, they have worked as a Research Intern at the University of Hull and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Ecology, gaining further expertise in molecular parasitology and defense strategies in conifers, respectively.

Danny Schnerwitzki completed their education in a chronological manner. Danny pursued a Diploma in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, which they obtained between 2007 and 2012. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular Genetics at the same university, completing it between 2012 and 2017. In addition to their degrees, Danny Schnerwitzki obtained a certification as a Project Manager for Laboratory Animal Science according to guidelines of the Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science (FELASA), category C in November 2016. This certification was obtained from the institution Berliner Kompaktkurse.
