In this role, they contributed to the design and development of the Orion mapping catheter used in high-resolution mapping of cardiac electrical pathways to treat arrhythmia. Christopher also worked with suppliers to improve processes and evaluate process changes for major components of the catheter including a fine-pitched flexible printed circuit and bi-directional articulating extruded shaft. Christopher also led testing efforts for root cause investigations and risk assessment during Limited Market Release of the Orion catheter to quickly address customer feedback while ensuring uninterrupted launch into market. In 2022, Christopher began their role as a Frontend Engineer at NuvoAir.

Christopher Ohlmacher obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2011. In April 2021, they also became a Triplebyte Certified Front-end Engineer.
