Nick Simmons

Nick is responsible for building Nuvocargo's platform and creating a world-class engineering team. He has over 20 years of experience working in tech building products. Prior to joining Nuvocargo, Nick was Director of Engineering at Shopify, where he spent 9 years and played a pivotal role in the company’s growth from a series B startup to one of Canada's largest market cap companies ($50B+). Nick holds a Master’s of Engineering and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Concordia University in Montreal.
