Raakesh Jain

Mr. Raakesh Jain heads Sales for Nuvoco’s cement business, which encompasses the trade as well as the non-trade segments. In his present role, he is responsible for driving sales of cement, cover blocks, construction chemicals, wall putty and bricks, and blocks. He is also responsible for developing and scaling up the new business for value added products

Mr. Jain joined Nuvoco in 2007; where he was responsible for driving branding, marketing activities, communications, customer services, new product development and market research for its cement business. He then moved to head sales for the Bihar, Jharkhand, UP and Delhi regions. Mr. Jain was later mandated to launch and establish the Nuvoco business in North India and given an additional charge for the Bihar and Odisha markets a couple of years down the line. Leveraging his capabilities to launch new businesses; Mr. Jain was also entrusted with establishing Nuvoco’s construction chemicals and new value-added products. In 2017, he took over the all India cement trade sales responsibility.

Mr. Jain has over two decades of experience in sales and marketing, product launches, business development, and customer services. Prior to joining Nuvoco, he worked with UltraTech Cement’s White Cement Division and Dhar Cement.

Mr. Jain has a Bachelor degree in Commerce and a Masters in Management Studies from Vikram University. He is a recipient of the Best Rural Marketing Initiative Programme of the RMAI. He has also been associated with various change management programmes and nominated for Young Managers Award (AV Birla Group).
