Itzik Merkado

Itzik Merkado is a skilled Chip Design Engineer at Nuvoton Technology Israel Ltd since May 2023. Previously, Itzik served as an IP Logic Design Engineer at Intel Corporation from January 2018 to May 2023, where responsibilities included leading design for the Packet Processing Unit's next-generation IPU and managing full design flow collaboration with the architectural team. Itzik also held the position of FPGA Design Engineer, focusing on designing logic blocks for pre-silicon and post-silicon validation of Intel's latest CPUs using Altera and Xilinx FPGAs. Between November 2009 and February 2015, Itzik served in the Israel Defense Forces as an Intelligence Researcher, advancing to department head roles in both the 91st division and Northern Command. Itzik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, obtained in March 2020.
