Charl Tuwanakotta

Charl Tuwanakotta is an experienced professional in information security and cybersecurity. Currently serving as an Information Security Officer at Sportbedrijf Rotterdam since June 2024 and as CISO at NVAO since June 2023, Charl also founded PuraSec B.V. in December 2018, focusing on making cybersecurity comprehensible and empowering clients through knowledge transfer. Previous roles include Information Security Consultant at Fujitsu Belgium, CCO for Computest Group, and various positions at Dun & Bradstreet and Philip Morris International. Charl holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Economy from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
