Gagan Sarawgi

Gagan Sarawgi has over 12 years of professional experience in various roles. Gagan started their career in 2007 as a Project Assistant at SKU Construction Pvt Ltd, where they reduced interest expenses by 40 percent and proposed a construction design that saved $50,000 in construction costs. In 2008, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania's Institute of Translational Medicine & Therapeutics. The following year, they joined the University of Pennsylvania's Department of Ophthalmology as a Research Assistant, where they set up a yeast two hybrid screening to identify proteins involved in causing eye cataract in mice and humans, and developed a SAS program for cleaning and analysis of data obtained from gene sequencing. In 2009, Gagan Sarawgi was a Research Analyst at Wharton Business School, where they performed statistical forecasting analysis using spreadsheets and SAS programming to study the validity of predicting global mean temperature using carbon dioxide as the causal variable. Gagan also worked as a Business Analyst at ZL Technologies, where they identified and documented requirements and business cases for eDiscovery Analytics product, led the design, development, testing, and production roll-out generating $3.5M in annual revenue, and built and led a 5-member Professional Services team generating $2M+ in annual revenues. From 2017 to 2019, Gagan Sarawgi worked as a Manager of Information Governance at EY. Gagan currently works as the Director of Product Management at NVISIONx.

Gagan Sarawgi obtained their Masters degree in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008, after completing their B.Tech in Biotechnology from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology University between 2003 and 2007. In 2009, they also obtained a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer for SAS 9 certification from SAS.
