Richard Whiting

Richard Whiting is the current Chief Executive at Nwf Group. Prior to this, they were the Group Finance Director at Heywood Williams Group plc from October 2002 to September 2007. Richard was responsible for leading the restructuring of the international building products group and shaping the strategy to deliver consistent year on year earnings growth in excess of 10%. Richard was also a member of the Group Board, leading communications with City analysts and investors.

From January 2000 to December 2002, Richard was the Managing Director at Brand Rex Datacom Division, an international data communication business with offices worldwide. Richard developed a customer focused international business and a specification led brand.

From January 1997 to December 2000, Richard was the Commercial Director at Caradon Plumbing Solutions, where they led a sales team of 90 and managed leading brands including Mira showers, Twyford bathrooms, Stelrad radiators and Ideal boilers. Richard delivered significant growth in complex sales channels with specifiers, house builders, installers and builders merchants.

Prior to that, from January 1988 to December 1997, Richard was the Marketing Director at Caradon Friedland Ltd, a £32 million revenue company.

Richard Whiting studied industrial economics at the University of Nottingham, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Hons degree.
