Patrick Branch

Patrick Branch is an experienced business development leader currently serving as the Head of Business Development for Japan and APAC at Nxera Pharma since April 2024. Prior to this role, Patrick held the position of Partner at L.E.K. Consulting for 17 years, focusing on strategic consulting in biopharma, medtech, and private equity. Additional experience includes serving as the Co-Head of the Tokyo Office and Director of Strategic Planning at AstraZeneca in 2016, and as a Business Development Intern at Biogen in 2010. Patrick's career began with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) as an Assistant Language Teacher from 2002 to 2004. Patrick holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from INSEAD, an MPH from Columbia University, a Master's in Asian History from SOAS University of London, and a BA Hons in History from the University of Nottingham. Patrick is currently pursuing an Executive Masters in Finance at INSEAD from September 2023 to March 2025.
