Alexandru Palalau

Alexandru Palalau is a seasoned software engineering professional with a strong background in the automotive and embedded systems sectors. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at NXP Semiconductors since January 2017, Alexandru leads the Automotive Linux BSP initiative and has been an official Yocto consultant since 2019, overseeing task organization within the Romania Embedded Yocto Team. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer role at Intel Corporation from May 2012 to December 2016, focusing on Android on IA projects, and a Technical Consultant position at Gecad Technologies from October 2010 to May 2012. Earlier experience also includes working as a System Administrator at Class IT Outsourcing for a brief period in 2010. Alexandru holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Politehnica University Bucharest, obtained in 2010.
