Julien Legriel

Julien Legriel is a Principal Software Architect in AI/ML at NXP Semiconductors since September 2024, bringing extensive experience in software engineering and development. Prior roles include Technical Lead for SDK & Applications and Senior Application Engineer at UPMEM from January 2021 to July 2024, as well as R&D Senior Staff Engineer and R&D Staff Engineer at Synopsys Inc from September 2015 to January 2021, where management of a team focused on software tools for power estimation was a key responsibility. Julien also worked at Atrenta as a Member of Consulting Staff from October 2011 to August 2015, specializing in power reduction at RTL, and began a career as a Research Engineer (CIFRE Ph.D) at STMicroelectronics from 2008 to 2011. Julien holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) and a Master in Telecommunication Engineering from Dublin City University.
