David Sandbank

David Sandbank serves as the Vice President of Distributed Energy Resources & Transportation at NYSERDA, a position held since November 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing the NY-Sun, Energy Storage, and Clean Transportation portfolios to enhance solar energy accessibility across New York State. Sandbank has held various leadership roles in the energy sector, including Director of Distributed Energy Resources and Director of NY-Sun at NYSERDA. Additionally, Sandbank is a Board Member of the New York Battery and Energy Storage Technology Consortium (NY-BEST) and NECEC. Prior experience includes serving as President of OnForce Solar, Inc., Managing Partner at Garden Variety Vodka, Owner of Nice View Inc., and Director of Sandbank Films. Educational background includes a degree from Adelphi University.
