Patrick Svahn

Patrick Svahn has a diverse work experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategy. Patrick is currently the Director of Financial Planning, Analysis & Strategy at NYAB. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Business Controller and Team Lead at VR Group. Patrick also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Mysoda Oy. Before that, they held various roles at Finnair, including Business Controller, Network Profitability, Manager - Strategy and Financial Analysis, Schedule Distribution Manager, and Network Manager. Patrick began their career as a Management Consultant at KPMG Oy Ab, specializing in Financial and Commercial Due Diligence and valuation services. Patrick also worked as a Middle Office Analyst at Ilmarinen and as a trainee at Schneider Electric, focusing on R&D and product strategy.

Patrick Svahn is a highly educated individual with a strong background in both economics and engineering. Patrick obtained their M.Sc. (Econ.) in Accounting and Finance from the Hanken School of Economics, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Svahn pursued further studies at the University of Mannheim in 2005, where they completed a part of their M.Sc. (part of Hanken studies) in Accounting and Finance. Prior to their studies in economics, Svahn earned their M.Sc. (Technology) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Aalto University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003.
