Ray has worked both, securities services on Wall Street and investment banking in Mexico City.
He advises on the firm’s relationships with technology related companies and startups. As a former Citibanker, he has experience with over 400 global banks in relationship management in securities services on complex international deals such as the landmark $40 billion dollar Mexican Brady Plan as well as department wide strategic planning leadership for asset-based finance products and services.
He later served as an investment banker in Mexico City with Casa de Bolsa Inverlat (now Scotia Bank) covering steel, chemicals, mining, and pharmaceuticals with deal teams issuing debt, equity and ADR securities. Later, he became Partner and Managing Director of international broker/dealer Global Direct Financial Services in New York where he developed and negotiated securities trading partnerships with C-Suite executives at dozens of banks and investment banks worldwide.
He holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Master’s Degree in International Studies from The University of Pennsylvania.
