Erin Sheehan

Erin Sheehan is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching social studies at the high school level, currently serving as a High School Social Studies Teacher at NYC DOE since November 2021. Prior to this role, Erin worked as a 6th Grade History Teacher at Uncommon Schools from July 2019 to June 2021. Additional experiences include serving as a Social Media Content Creator Assistant at Multibrain and as a Drama Supervisor at Alden Recreation Dept, where responsibilities included student recruitment and directing rehearsals. Erin has also completed student teaching positions at Attica Central Schools and Genesee Valley Educational Partnership, as well as working as a Student Involvement Mentor at SUNY Geneseo. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with Adolescent Education Certification and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre/Theater from SUNY Geneseo, along with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education.
