Stage Manager at New York City Ballet

Jacqueline Reid is an accomplished stage management and lighting design professional with extensive experience in the performing arts. Currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at Columbia University since September 2023, Reid teaches Stage Management for Dance to MFA students. As the Senior Stage Manager at New York City Ballet since August 2016, Reid holds a prestigious role in one of the world's leading ballet companies. Freelance lighting design work encompasses multiple disciplines, including theater and opera, since 2003. Previous roles include Production Stage Manager with Ballet Collective during the COVID pandemic, Production Manager for Paul Taylor Dance Company, and Assistant Professor and Technical Director at Rutgers University. Reid's experience also includes technical positions with LA Opera, Luxious Lighting, Inc., and as a Master Electrician at California Institute of the Arts. Reid holds an MFA in Lighting and Scenic Design from Northwestern University and a BA in English and Drama from Tufts University.
