Maria Kiriakidou

Maria Kiriakidou is a skilled Technology Developer at Nyctea Technologies, where expertise is applied in the research and development of biomolecule purification devices, focusing on echemically switchable brush electrodes through ATRP since June 2021. Previously, during a tenure as a Research Assistant at Chalmers University of Technology in early 2021, Maria investigated methods for protein immobilization and release using polyelectrolyte brushes with ARGET ATRP. A prior research stint at NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" in mid-2018 involved developing hybrid organic-inorganic nanospheres for water purification applications. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology, Maria Kiriakidou holds an Integrated Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Ioannina.
