Nicolas Kanaris

Nicolas Kanaris has more than 40 years of work experience in the financial services industry. Nicolas is currently working as the Financial Services Director at NYDLA.org since October 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Wells Fargo as a Global Advisor from October 2019 to October 2023. From 1998 to 2019, Nicolas held various roles at Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, including FVP & Deputy General Manager, Vice President & Director, Americas Desk, and Vice President - Corporate Banking. Nicolas also worked at Arab American Bank as the Vice President & Deputy Head - Corporate Banking from 1993 to 1998. Earlier in their career, Nicolas worked at Royal Bank of Canada as a Manager, European American Bank as an Assistant Treasurer - International Division, First National Bank of Boston as an International Banking Associate, and Burroughs Machines Ltd as a Financial Management Trainee. Their roles have involved various responsibilities such as developing and managing corporate relationships, generating income, and evaluating loan proposals.

Nicolas Kanaris completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Kingston University from 1977 to 1980. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a finance specialization at Boston College Carroll School of Management from 1982 to 1984.
