Amanda Margolis

Associate Scientific Project Manager at The New York Genome Center

Amanda Margolis is an experienced scientific project manager and forensic scientist with a strong background in forensic biology and DNA analysis. Currently serving as an Associate Scientific Project Manager at the New York Genome Center since June 2021, Amanda previously worked at the Union County Prosecutor's Office from July 2014 to June 2021, where responsibilities included forensic biology and DNA analysis of casework as well as providing expert witness testimony. Prior to that, Amanda held the position of DNA Analyst III at The Bode Technology Group from February 2010 to June 2014. Amanda Margolis earned a Master of Science in Forensic Science from John Jay College (CUNY) between 2007 and 2010.
