Christina Caragine is a staff scientist and lab manager at the Sanjana Lab within the New York Genome Center and New York University, with experience since September 2020. Previously, Christina served as a postdoctoral research associate and graduate research assistant at New York University from January 2016 to September 2020, focusing on the dynamics of nucleoli in live human cells, which resulted in a first author publication. Prior academic roles include undergraduate research assistantships at The University of Chicago and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the latter leading to work published on population dynamics. Christina holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics and a Master of Science in Physics from New York University, as well as dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Applied Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
