Khulangoo Rizaj has extensive experience in research administration and grants management. They started their career in 2007 as an Accounts Receivable Cash Application Intern at Arkema, followed by a credit management internship at ACE Group in 2008. In 2010, Rizaj joined The Wistar Institute as a Grants & Contracts Specialist. They then moved to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 2013, where they worked as a Grants Management Specialist. In 2017, Rizaj joined NYU Langone Health as a Senior Grants Specialist and later became a Senior Grants Manager. Their responsibilities at NYU Langone Health included overseeing grants administration, managing a diverse portfolio of grants and contracts, assisting with pre-award activities, and coordinating post-award actions. In 2023, Rizaj joined the New York Genome Center as the Director of Research Administration.
Khulangoo Rizaj completed their education in a chronological manner. They first attended Community College of Philadelphia from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration. Following this, they pursued further education at Drexel University's LeBow College of Business from 2006 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & International Business.
