Lev Kogon, PhD

Lev Kogon, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Lev is currently the VP and Head of Business Development at Nykode Therapeutics since October 2022. Prior to this, Lev worked at Bayer, where they held multiple positions including Oncology Global Business Development & Strategic Alliances Lead, Oncology Strategic Marketing & New Product Commercialization EMEA, Business Development & Licensing Lead Europe/EMEA, Business Operation Manager for Western & Eastern Europe, and Business Development & Licensing Lead for Russia/CIS. Lev also served as a Board Member at Pharmaceutical Licensing Group, where they facilitated business collaborations between pharmaceutical companies in the Central and Eastern Europe region. Before that, they worked at Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. as the Acting Head of New Products and Business/New Products & Business Development Executive. Lev gained early experience at GlaxoSmithKline as a Junior Business Development Manager, Regulatory Affairs Associate, and Intern in the Regulatory Affairs department. Lev'scareer began at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University as a Laboratory Analyst and National CNS Hospital as a Male Nurse in the Intensive Care unit.

Lev Kogon, PhD has a diverse education history reflecting their expertise in multiple fields. Lev holds a Ph.D. in Oncology Health Economics and Outcomes Research from the Scientific Center on Expertise of Medical Application Products of The Ministry of Health. Prior to their doctorate, they obtained a Master's degree in Pharmacy from the Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy (MMA). In 2016 and 2017, they pursued further studies in Business Strategy and Evaluation at Esade.
