Pierre F. Saldinger

SVP, Perioperative Services at NewYork-Presbyterian

Pierre Saldinger MD MHA FACS has extensive experience in surgical leadership and healthcare administration. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Perioperative Services at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital since February 2012, Saldinger is also the Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Surgeon-in-Chief at Weill Cornell Medicine. Previous roles include Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Danbury Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Saldinger’s clinical expertise was further developed at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Saldinger holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Basel.
