Alfons Mathieu

Alfons Mathieu possesses extensive experience in finance and controlling, currently serving as Finance Manager for Nyrstar since January 2021. Prior roles include Manager of Business & Financial Controlling at Belgoprocess from March 2011 to December 2020, and multiple positions at Voka - Kamer van Koophandel Mechelen-Kempen, including Plato Peter from September 2016 and previously from September 2012 to June 2014. Alfons held various business controller roles at Nyrstar between 2007 and 2011, and gained significant experience at Umicore from 1985 to 2007 in positions such as Controller for Business Lines and Plant Controller. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Economics & IT from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & IT from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen.
