Mona Y.

Mona Y. has extensive experience in credit analysis within the investment sector, currently serving as a Senior Credit Analyst at the New York State Insurance Fund since October 2019, focusing on corporate credits in the Energy, Industrials, Consumer Non-Cyclicals, and REIT sectors. Prior to this role, Mona Y. spent nearly 14 years at Schroders as a High Yield Analyst and Senior Credit Analyst, specializing in distressed and special situation energy credits. Mona Y. also held the position of Investment Officer and Senior Vice President at Sun Life, managing high-grade corporate bond portfolios exceeding $25 billion in assets under management. Earlier in the career, Mona Y. worked as the Director of the Global Power Group at Fitch Ratings, where responsibilities included analyzing and assigning ratings to fixed-income securities. Mona Y. holds a Masters of Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University, complemented by minors in Statistics and International Relations.
