Jamie Stockwell is the current deputy national editor at The New York Times. Jamie has held this position since June 2018. Prior to that, they were the managing editor at the San Antonio Express-News from March 2007 to May 2018. In that role, they were focused on digital innovation and enhancing storytelling online with data visualization, interactive mapping and other digital tools. Her efforts earned national recognition and more than two dozen journalism awards.
Jamie Stockwell received a Bachelor of Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin. Jamie then attended the Hearst Management Institute and the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
