Fredrik Mourath

Fredrik Mourath is a seasoned naval architect with extensive experience in project management, requirement management, risk management, planning, procurement, and cost estimating. Currently serving as a Naval Architect at Gothia Marine AB since January 2010, Fredrik specializes in general naval architecture, focusing on machinery and ship systems design, arrangement design, concept studies, and certification processes. In addition to this role, Fredrik holds the position of Technical Design Manager for Naval Projects at Ö-VARVET AB since October 2017 and previously contributed as a consultant naval architect for the A26 type submarine program at FMV - Försvarets materielverk from August 2016 to January 2022. With earlier roles at Swede Ship Marine AB, Wahlborgs Marina AB, and experience as a cadet and instructor in the naval field, Fredrik has developed a strong background in both government and navy vessels as well as high-speed vessels. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
