Jay Forbes

Jay Forbes has extensive work experience in the field of web development and management. Jay began their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, where they coded and maintained websites while also teaching short courses. Jay then joined the University System of Georgia as a Senior Web Developer, where they designed and developed websites and led the implementation of a content management system. Following this, Jay worked at D4 Creative Group as a Web Developer, where they developed websites, landing pages, and email campaigns for various clients. Jay was the primary developer for the agency during their tenure. Currently, Jay is the Director of Engineering at O3 World, where they manage a team and is responsible for resourcing, hiring, performance management, and capacity planning.

Jay Forbes obtained a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from The University of Texas at Austin in the field of Information Science. This degree was achieved from 1998 to 1999. Prior to that, Jay attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1992 to 1996 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a field of study in Telecommunications. Apart from their formal education, Jay Forbes has also obtained a certification in the "Engagement Crash Course" from Bloomreach in August 2023.
